BRAC University welcomed its Fall 2025 semester students with an orientation programme held on campus on Monday. The event featured Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, as the chief guest, according to a university statement.
In his speech, Dr. Momen highlighted the aspirations of the new generation to rebuild Bangladesh on the foundations of good governance, human development, and justice.
"I believe you can make Bangladesh truly prosperous. You have already shown that potential, and I believe in your ability to achieve it," he said, encouraging students to be inspired by the life and philosophy of BRAC's founder, Sir Fazle Hasan Abed.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Syed Ferhat Anwar urged students to act responsibly toward the country, the nation, and society.
"We must all work together for the welfare of humanity. That is why the Creator sent us into this world," he said. He also advised students to use the internet and artificial intelligence wisely and responsibly.
Registrar Dr. David Dowland welcomed the students through a video message.
