BSTI drive to check food adulteration in Ramadan

The Bangladesh Standards and Testing Institution (BSTI) will carry out special drives across the country in the month of Ramadan to prevent food adulteration, reports BSS.

Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan said this at a press briefing at the conference room of the Ministry of Industries on Wednesday.

BSTI has undertaken the special drive to prevent adulteration and quality control of daily necessities during the month of Ramadan, a press release said.

BSTI will check the quality of iftar items, baby food, fruits, and cosmetics products during the time, the release added.
