Canada reaffirms commitment to empowering girls in BD

The High Commission of Canada in Bangladesh has reiterated its strong commitment to promoting gender equality and supporting girls' empowerment as part of the country's global pledge to champion the rights, leadership, and voices of girls worldwide, reports BSS.

In a message marking the International Day of the Girl Child, observed on October 11 under the theme "The girl I am, the change I lead - Girls on the frontlines of crisis," the Canadian High Commission emphasised that girls were not merely coping with challenges but were shaping innovative solutions in times of uncertainty and crisis.
