CanCham chief Masudur passes away; DCCI mourns

Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CanCham Bangladesh) president Masudur Rahman passed away in the capital on Wednesday.
He was 68.
Meanwhile, the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) condoled the demise of Masudur Rahman who also served the DCCI as a senior vice-president in 1991, 1992 and 1998.
DCCI president Taskeen Ahmed and members of the board of directors expressed their deepest condolences on his death and extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family members.
Masudur Rahman was also the managing director of Crane Ltd and chairman of Asia Securities Ltd.
He played a great role in strengthening and expanding the Canada-Bangladesh bilateral trade and economic relations.
The deceased was buried at the Banani graveyard after his namaz-e-janaza on the premises of Gulshan Azad Mosque the same day.
