Child dies in Jashore truck accident

A truck has run over and killed a child in Jashore's Sharsha Upazila, reports bdnews24.com.
Two others were also injured in the accident, which occurred on the Nabharon-Gorpara road on Wednesday, said Khairul Alam, sub-inspector of the Upazila's Gorpara Police Outpost.
The victim was identified as 5-year-old Kamruzzaman of the Upazila's Chanduria village.
A sand-laden truck bound for Gorpara veered out of control at the Hazaratala intersection of Keralkhali and ran over the child, SI Khairul told the news agency.
