Chinese artistes performing at the celebration programme of Chinese New Year on ULAB campus in the city Sunday. A programme to celebrate Chinese New Year, Spring Festival-2018, was held on ULAB campus in the city Sunday.
The programme was jointly organised by ULAB and Confucious Institute of the University of Dhaka, says a statement.
UNESCO Dhaka Office and Confucius Institute at North South University were co-organisers of the programme, sponsored by the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka.
Sun Yan, cultural counsellor, Embassy of China in Bangladesh, was present as the chief guest while head and representative of UNESCO Dhaka Office B Kaldun was present as the special guest.
Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed, Vice President of ULAB Board of Trustees, delivered the welcome speech. ULAB vice-chancellor Professor HM Jahirul Haque was also present on the occasion.
