The chief justice came up with his remarks while speaking at an award giving ceremony styled Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah Gold Medal 2017 at Dr MH Khan Auditorium of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) in the capital.

Like each year, Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) organised the event this time to honour the country's eminent personalities for their contributions to respective fields and social services.

Barrister Rafique-ul Huq won the award this year for outstanding contribution to the field of legislation, law and order and social services.

As a lawyer, he introduced himself as very honest, punctual and a man of 'equilibrium and equity', he added.

Apart from this, the speakers urged all to provide services to mankind for building a better society following the example of Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah.
