Class XI admission application from July 30

The online admission process for Class-XI students in government and private colleges for 2025-26 academic year will begin from July 30 on the basis of results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examinations as no admission test will be accepted, reports BSS.

Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued a notification in this regard on Thursday, saying applications will start from July 30 and will continue until August 11.

Students who have passed the SSC or equivalent examinations in the current academic year and within the previous two years will be considered eligible for admission. In the case of foreign boards, admission can be granted only after the Dhaka Education Board sets the standards and approves it.

In terms of group selection, students in the science group can apply for any group (science, humanities and business studies).

Students who have passed SSC or Dakhil Vocational from Madrasah and Technical Education Boards can apply for admission to any group of the General Education Board.
