CMCH prepares 2nd unit for corona patients

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 05: The corona affected patents are increasing day by day in Chattogram recently. Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), the largest government hospital for Chattogram region has prepared a new unit for corona affected patients.

Sources said CMCH has prepared the Nose and Ear Ward as second unit for the corona affected patients. There are 60 beds in the second unit of CMCH for the COVID patients.

Earlier, CMCH started a unit with 150 beds for corona affected patients in May last. Fearing the second wave of COVID 19, CMCH has prepared the second unit now.

Deputy Director of CMCH Dr Aftabul Islam said, "We have already prepared a new unit for corona affected patients. As the corona affected patients may increase during the winter, we have taken preparation for treatment of more COVID patients here at CMCH."
