Cold wave sweeps dists

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 6:00 pm today (Saturday). Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Narsingdi, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia, and it may continue.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins of the country and light to moderate fog may occur during mid-night to morning.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged.

The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Friday at 29.2 degrees Celsius in Sylhet, while the lowest was 6.8 degrees Celsius in Panchagarh.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 26 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 12.2 degrees Celsius.
