Cops rescue missing schoolboy in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Mar 31: The police rescued a schoolboy from a bus on the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar Highway on Saturday, five days after he had gone missing from the city.
Assistant Commissioner of Detective Branch (West) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police Moinul Islam said acting on a tip-off, a DB police team started searching Chittagong-bound buses coming from Cox's Bazar since 10 pm and found the schoolboy on a bus of Greenline Services at Moizzartek under Karnaphuli police station near Third Kanaphuli Bridge around 1.30 am on Saturday.
He said Srikanta Debnath, a class VII student of Halishahar Lt Gen Musfique Bir Uttam High School, was speaking abnormally after he was rescued. Even he did not give details. So, he was admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital under police custody.
