Correction (2019-09-26)

In a report titled "Facebook to open local office, pay taxes" published in the September 24, 2019 issue of The Financial Express (FE), it was inadvertently mentioned that Facebook, a popular social media site, agreed to open an office and appoint local representatives. Actually, Facebook had only agreed to appoint local representatives in Dhaka, instead of setting up its office.

The inadvertent mistake is regretted.
