Court orders to freeze 16 bank A/Cs of Dipu Moni

A Dhaka court on Thursday ordered the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to freeze 16 bank accounts of former Social Welfare Minister and Awami League leader Dr Dipu Moni in a graft case.
Judge of the Metropolitan Senior Special Judge's Court in Dhaka, Md Zakir Hossain, passed the order after hearing a petition filed by the anti-graft watchdog.
Earlier on the day, ACC Assistant Director SM Rashedul Hasan, also investigation officer of the case, submitted an application in this regard.
