Ctg sees spike in coronavirus patients

CHATTOGRAM, Nov 01: The number of coronavirus patients has been increasing day by day in Chattogram.

A total of 21,184 patients have been infected with Covid-19 in Chattogram so far including the 183 persons on Saturday.

According to the civil surgeon office of Chattogram, the rate of corona infected patients -- out of the samples being tested -- is 16.22 per cent now. A total of 16,543 patients have been cured and 300 persons died from Covid-19 in Chattogram so far while the rest are undergoing treatment at hospitals and homes.

Civil Surgeon of Chattogram Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said isolation and health safety are very essential to save from coronavirus.
