DB arrests four stamp, currency syndicate members

The Detective Branch (DB) has reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling a widespread counterfeit stamp and currency syndicates operating across the country, reports UNB.
Four members of the stump syndicate were arrested in connection with the manufacturing and distribution of counterfeit stamps worth around Tk 150 million on Monday, said DB Joint Commissioner Talebur Rahman at a press briefing at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Headquarters on Tuesday.
