Deadline for Hajj primary registration won't be extended

The government will not extend the deadline for primary registration for Hajj 2026 after October 12, in accordance with the timeline set by the Saudi Arabian government.
A senior official from the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) informed this saying the deadline would not be extended, following the timeline fixed by the Saudi Arabian government.
He also mentioned that the ministry had taken steps to inform all citizens of the country through mobile messages.
An official from the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) confirmed that they had initiated the process, as requested by the MoRA, to send messages to all Muslim citizens in the country.
The primary Hajj registration began on July 27, 2025. A total of 127,198 pilgrims from Bangladesh will be able to perform Hajj next year, which is expected to take place in the last week of May 2026.
