Death anniv ---

The first death anniversary of Tasmiah Parveen Chowdhury Wridi will be observed today (Saturday).

Tasmiah, a pharmacist from Massachusetts College of Health, died of cancer in Boston of the United States on March 05, 2021 at the age of 35.

She left behind two children, husband, parents and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death.

Tasmiah was the granddaughter of veteran journalist ABM Musa and Sitara Musa, and daughter of journalist and general secretary of Bangladesh Nari Sangbadik Kendra Parvin Sultana Jhuma and pharmacist Selim Azad Chowdhury.

Doa mahfils have been organised at Tasmiah's residence at Mohammadpur in the city and village home of Chhagalnaiya of Feni, according to a statement.
