Death toll rises to three in Mirpur gas line blast

Two more people who suffered burn injuries in a gas- pipeline explosion at Mirpur in the city died at Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute on Friday, bringing the death toll to three.

The victims are Suman (49) and Rafiqul Islam (35).

They had been undergoing treatment at the Incentive Care Unit of Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.

Earlier, a child identified as Rina Akter died at the institute on Thursday as 70 per cent of her body was burnt.
