Deaths of three more push dengue toll to 73

Dengue claimed three more lives in 24 hours until Saturday 8.00am, bringing the year's total death toll to 73.

Meanwhile, 331 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country during the same period, raising the cumulative number of hospitalisations to 19,120 this year.

According to the Directorate General of Health Services' (DGHS) daily bulletin, the majority of new admissions occurred in Dhaka city, followed by Chattogram and other divisions.

Among the three deceased, all are male, two from Chattogram aged 82 and 27 and one from Dhaka South City Corporation area aged 85.
