Dengue claims one more life -

One dengue patient has died and 358 others have been hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours, while eight new COVID-19 cases have been reported with no deaths during the same period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the newly admitted dengue patients, 150 were hospitalised in Barishal division, 45 in Dhaka division, 39 each in Dhaka North and Dhaka South, 32 in Chattogram, 29 in Rajshahi, 14 in Khulna, and 5 in Mymensingh.
The total number of dengue cases this year has reached 11,456, and the death toll stands at 45. A total of 341 patients were discharged from hospitals in the 24 hours.
In contrast, COVID-19 infections remain low, with only eight new cases detected and no fatalities reported during the same 24-hour period.
