Dengue death toll hits 103

Bangladesh's dengue death toll rose to 103 this year after one fatality was reported in the past 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
During the period, some 382 dengue positive patients were also hospitalised across the country, which took the total caseload to 24,999 this year.
The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the figures.
The deceased has been identified as a 50-year-old male hailing from Narail, who was admitted in Khulna Medical College Hospital.
Barishal remains the most affected region this year, with significant shares in both admissions and fatalities. The southern division of the country reported 8,830 cases this year followed by Dhaka with 8,761 cases.
Currently, 1,263 people are undergoing treatment from the mosquito-borne disease.
So far, 23,633 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital.
Meanwhile, no new Covid-19 positive case was reported in 24 hours when 65 samples were tested.
