Detectives arrest 2 with 2,850 bottles of Phensidyl in city

Detectives arrested two people and seized a truck loaded with 2,850 bottles of Phensidyl syrup from Turag area in the city on Sunday night, reports UNB.

Identities of the arrestees could not be confirmed yet.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a drive in the area and challenged a truck at night, said Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Masudur Rahman.

Searching the truck, the detectives recovered 2,850 bottles of Phensidyl and arrested the duo in this connection.
