Secretary of Ministry of Defence Akhter Hussain Bhuiya speaking at a discussion organised by Bangladesh Meteorological Department on its premises in the city on Friday marking the World Meteorological Day — ISPR Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) organised a discussion at its headquarters in the city on Friday marking the 'World Meteorological Day 2018,' says a press release.
Secretary of Ministry of Defence Akhter Hussain Bhuiya inaugurated the discussion as the chief guest and delivered a brief speech highlighting the significance of the day. All of the officers and staff members, former directors of Bangladesh Meteorological Department and some other high officials of different organisations were also present at the programme.
The Officers' Association of Bangladesh Meteorological Department organised a technical session at the end of the inaugural ceremony.
