Daffodil International University (DIU) Chairman Dr Md Sabur Khan participated in the Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC) 2026 held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Wednesday, according to a statement.
He attended the event as a distinguished speaker in a session titled "Driving Change: How South Asian Higher Education Powers the SDGs."
During the session, Dr Khan highlighted some of the most pressing challenges facing South Asia, including youth employability, climate resilience, and equitable access to quality education and opportunities.
He underscored the critical role of universities in producing future-ready graduates, fostering entrepreneurship and innovation, generating impactful research, and building meaningful partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.
