Professor Dr. Mohammad Masum Iqbal has been appointed as the pro-vice chancellor of Daffodil International University (DIU). He handed over his joining letter to DIU Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Md. Sabur Khan on August 07.
Masum Iqbal joined DIU as a lecturer in 2002. He earned his PhD in Banking and Insurance from University of Dhaka, along with an MBA and BBS in Marketing from University of Rajshahi.
Dr. Iqbal was a guest professor at UCSI University, Malaysia, and also participated in the Erasmus+ Programme at Anadolu University, Turkey. He has authored over 50 research publications, and recently published a textbook with Bangladesh Open University.
