Dr Zahir's death anniv today

Today (Thursday) is the sixth death anniversary of eminent jurist and constitution expert Dr Muhammad Zahir. He died on July 11, 2013

Dr M Zahir taught Company Law at Dhaka University and was a senior advocate of the Bangladesh Supreme Court, convener and member of several Company Law Reform Committees in Bangladesh and was elected a member of the Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, France.

Dr Zahir authored "Company and Securities Laws', which is being widely used as a book of reference in South Asia, Australia, Canada and the UK, said a statement.
