Driver's body recovered in capital

Police recovered the body of a driver from the Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover in the capital on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Md Sohel Mia. The 48-year-old's body was found in Dholaipar area.

He hailed from Naria upazila of Shariatpur district.

A police official at Jatrabari Police Station told The Financial Express that they had rushed to the spot after being informed and sent the body to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.

Sohel was a driver by profession. Signs of multiple injuries were found in his head, right eye, and other parts of the body, the policeman added.
