Dry weather likely to continue

Dry weather may persist while the sky is likely to be partly cloudy temporarily across the country today (Wednesday), according to a weather forecast.

Also, there will be a possibility of light rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Chattogram region, said the Met office.

And the day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it added.

On Tuesday, weather remained dry with no rainfall recorded anywhere in the country until 6:00pm.

The maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka was 32.8 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 24 degrees.

The country's highest temperature of 33.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Feni and Cox's Bazar on the day.

The sun will set in Dhaka at 5:22pm today (Wednesday) and will rise at 6:02am tomorrow (Thursday).
