Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours from 06:00 am today (Friday), according to the Met Office.

Mild heat wave may sweep over the districts of Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Moulvibazar, Rangamati, Jashore and Chuadanga.

Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise slightly.

The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded at 38.0 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi while the lowest temperature at 17.2 degrees in Tetulia. The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 34.5 degrees Celsius on Thursday and the lowest was 26.0 degrees.
