DSCC launches anti mosquito drive

To curb the spread of dengue, Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) launched anti-mosquitoes drive on Friday as part of its special cleanliness and mosquito-control campaign.

Over 900 cleaners and mosquito-control workers from DSCC's waste management and health departments, along with local residents, participated in the drive at the capital's Dhandmondi, from 6 am on Friday.

During the drive, waste was removed from lakes, drains, sewers, and footpaths, and mosquito-control chemicals were applied.
