DU Home Economics admission test held

The first-year honours admission test of 'Home Economics' unit for 2020-21 academic session of Dhaka University (DU) was held on Friday.

The test was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on 120 marks, said a press release.

A total of 9,451 students applied for 2,655 seats under 'Home Economics' unit. Some four students vied for one seat.

Of the total, 20 marks would be given on the basis of the results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) while the admission test was held on the rest 100 marks (mcq).

No electronic devices including calculator, mobile phone and electronic watch were allowed into the exam halls.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Pro-VC (academic) Prof. Dr. A.K.M. Maksud Kamal, Home Economics unit test coordinator and Biological Science Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Mihir Lal Saha, Registrar Probir Kumar Sarker, Proctor Dr. A.K.M. Golam Rabbani and Govt College of Applied Human Science Principal Prof. Ismat Rumina, among others, visited the Govt College of Applied Human Science exam centre.
