DU marks 155th birth anniv of Sir Salimullah

The 155th birth anniversary of Nawab Sir Salimullah was observed on Sunday through various programmes organised by the University of Dhaka (DU) and several other organisations.

On this occasion, the Provost of Salimullah Muslim Hall, Professor Dr. Md. Abdus Salam, led a delegation of residential teachers, officers, and staff members to pay tributes at the grave of Nawab Sir Salimullah in Begum Bazar. They also offered prayers for the departed soul. In addition, a prayer and milad mahfil was held at Salimullah Muslim Hall after Asr prayers.

Meanwhile, the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) organised a special prayer session in remembrance of the renowned statesman and education patron.
