DU signs MoU with China’s SCSIO

Dhaka University (DU) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with South China Sea Institute of Oceanology (SCSIO) to strengthen strategic maritime cooperation between Bangladesh and China. DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) ABM Obaidul Islam and SCSIO Director-General Chaolun Li signed the agreement at SCSIO's Nansha campus in China, a statement said. The MoU was initiated jointly by the International Center for Ocean Governance and the State Key Laboratory of Oceanography under SCSIO.

The agreement is expected to establish a formal framework for collaboration in research, faculty and student exchange, and joint scientific initiatives.
