Ebadul Karim no more

Md Ebadul Karim, Managing Director of Beacon Pharmaceuticals PLC, and director of Kohinoor Chemicals, passed away on Thursday.

He breathed his last at 9:00am while undergoing treatment at a city hospital, says a press release.

Mr Karim was a prominent

figure in pharmaceutical and consumer goods industries.

Under his leadership, Beacon Pharmaceuticals became one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in the country, while Kohinoor Chemicals continued to be a major manufacturer of soaps and cosmetics.
