Entry test of DU-affiliated 7 colleges' Arts and Social Science unit held

Dhaka University (DU) affiliated 7 colleges' admission test of Arts and Social Science unit was held on Friday.

The test was held from 11am to 12am with total marks 120, said a press release.

A total of 38,644 students applied against 9,703 seats of Arts and Social Science unit where around 4 students will vie for one seat.

Of the 120, 20 marks were given on the basis of results of School Secondary Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and admission tests was held on the rest 100 marks (mcq).

DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman visited the Eden Girls College exam centre. Arts and Social Science unit test coordinator and DU Arts Faculty Dean Prof Dr Abdul Basir and others accompanied him.

DU Pro-VC (Administration) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad, Pro-VC (Academic) Prof Dr A.S.M. Maksud Kamal and Treasurer Prof Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed also visited the exam centres separately.
