EU starts journey on its permanent campus

Classes of Eastern University (EU) began on the permanent campus of the university at Savar in Dhaka district.

Education Ministry Additional Secretary (universities) Abdullah Al Hasan Chowdhury visited the campus, says a statement.

He expressed the hope that the EU would play significant role in realising the 'Vision 2021' and 'Vision 2041' of the government through gaining quality education.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the EU, Kh Mesbah Uddin Ahmed said that all modern facilities would be available here for the students to achieve knowledge.

Vice Chancellor (acting) Prof Dr Md Nurul Islam assured students of the state-of- the-art education.

Treasurer, deans, registrar, chairpersons, programme directors, high officials and students were also present on the occasion.
