Former Chairman and Director of NCC Bank S M Abu Mohsin passed away at 3:00 PM on Monday at Apollo Imperial Hospitals, Chattogram due to heart attack. He was 72. He left behind his wife, four sons and a number of well wishers.
Abu Mohsin was born in a respectable Muslim family of Chittagong in 1952. He was the chairman of Alliance Deep Sea Fishing Ltd, JM Shipping Lines, and Food & Accommodation Co Ltd, and managing director of Brothers Oxygen Ltd. Abu Mohsin was also the chairman of Continental Insurance Ltd, and director of Central Hospital Ltd.
His father Late S M Mozaherul Haq was the founder of Mozaher Group and Mr. Mohsin was a director of the group. He was associated with many social and educational organisations.
