FBCCI donates two microbuses to PM's Edn Assistance Trust

Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) donated on Monday two microbuses to Prime Minister's Education Assistance Trust (PMEAT).

President of FBCCI Md Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) handed over the keys of the vehicles to Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid at the boardroom of the ministry.

The minister expressed his thanks and gratefulness to the apex trade body for providing the microbuses to the PMEAT.

"It'll be a great inspiration for the trust," he mentioned.

The FBCCI president said the present government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is playing a praiseworthy role in ensuring quality education and making education universal in the country.

"FBCCI is proud to be a part of the education trust," he added. The PMEAT is providing stipend and admission assistance to the poor and meritorious students of the secondary, higher secondary and graduation levels.

Secretary of the Ministry of Education Sohrab Hossain, general secretary of Bangladesh Cargo Vessel Owners' Association Mohammad Nurul Haque and former chairman of Bangladesh Auto Re-Rolling and Steel Mills Association Sheikh Masadul Alam Masud, among others, were present.
