Fire guts over 50 shops in Madhabdi

NARSINGDI, July 04 (UNB): More than 50 shops, including 10 jewelry outlets, were gutted in a fire at Madhabdi Bazar in Narsingdi on Friday.
The fire erupted from one of the shops at around 5:00 am and spread fast engulfing adjacent shops. Five firefighting units from Madhabdi, Narsingdi Sadar and Palash stations rushed to the spot and doused the blaze after four hours.
