Four burnt in Gazipur fire

Four members of a family have suffered burn injuries after a mosquito coil led to a fire at their home in Gazipur city's Chakrabarty area, reports bdnews24.com.

The fire broke out on Friday night at the home of Abdul Jalil, said Kashimpur Police SI Md Masud Rana.

Jalil, his son Yasin Mahmud, 13, daughter Jasmine, 20, and son-in-law Abul Hassan, 23, were burned in the blaze.

The four were initially admitted to the local Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Memorial Medical College Hospital and then transferred to the Dhaka Medical College hospital's Burn Unit.

Abdul Jail said: "The mosquito coil started the fire. My son, daughter and son-in-law were burnt.
