Four killed in Sherpur road crash

SHERPUR, Nov 13 (UNB): Four people, including two siblings, were killed and three others injured in a head-on collision between a pickup truck and a CNG-run autorickshaw in the Paishka Bypass area at Nakla upazila of Sherpur on Wednesday.

The accident happened when the pickup van and a CNG-run autorickshaw collided at Paiska Bypass intersection around 12:00 pm.

The deceased are Subina Begum (20), wife of Raju Mia of Kaziyakanda village of Phulpur upazila in Mymensingh, her younger brother Tajen Mia (15), son of Sultan Mia of Palashia village of Sherpur, Tayera Begum (10), daughter of Tofazzal Hossain of Laudana village of Purbadhala upazila of Netrokona and Alauddin (40), son of Abul Kashem of Sahapur village in Phulpur.
