He was the owner of Monisree Jewellers in Bondortila area in the port city.

Police recovered the throat-slit body of the victim at 12:00 noon on Sunday.

Locals and police said Sonjoy Dhar was staying at his shop Monisree Jewellers on Friday night and at the night four to five persons came to his shop to meet him. After completing their talks, Sonjoy closed the shop and slept inside the shop.
