Govt launches e-learning, e-manual contents for class IX, X students

e-learning and e-manual contents for the students of class IX and X have been launched to make their classrooms more interactive and interesting, reports BSS.

TQI-2 project of the Education Ministry and the Ethics Advanced Technology Limited (EATL) developed the e-learning and e-manual aiming to promote ICT-based education in the country.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated the e-learning and e-manual contents as the chief guest at a function in a city hotel on Monday.

Education Secretary Md Sohorab Hossain, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Alamgir, Chairman of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) Professor Narayan Chandra Saha, Senior Social Sector Officer of ADB S M Ebadur Rahman, Project Director (Additional Secretary) TQI-2 Project Md Zahir Uddin Babar and Managing Director of EATL M A Mubin Khan, among others, addressed the function with Director General of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (DSHE) Professor Dr SM Wahiduzamman in the chair.

Nahid said Bangladesh has made a good progress in the expansion of education in the past eight years as a result of sincere efforts of the government.
