icddr,b, Rotary Club of Dhaka Mavericks, Bangladesh and Rotary Club of New Haven, Connecticut, USA, Rotaract Club of Yale and other Rotary and Rotaract Clubs signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen icddr,b's ongoing Covid-19 emergency response for Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) or Rohingya FDMNs at icddr,b's Mohakhali campus in the city on Tuesday. Rotary Club handed over a cheque for US $ 52,988 as Rotary International's The Rotary Foundation Global Grant to icddr,b. Tahsina Rahman, president, Rotary Club of Dhaka Mavericks, icddr,b's acting Executive Director Dr Tahmeed Ahmed, and Dr Md Sirajul Islam, emeritus scientist at icddr,b, along with representatives from Rotary Club and icddr,b were present at the cheque handover ceremony
