IFIL former chairman passes away

Feroz Alam, sponsor and former chairman of the board of directors of Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL), veteran industrialist and social worker expired in New Delhi, India on October 5, said a statement.

He was 63. He left behind wife, two sons, one daughter and numerous relatives and well-wishers.

Mr Alam was also the founder member and managing director of Youth Group.

The board of directors of IFIL, sponsors, executives, officers and employees deeply mourned for his sad demise and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty Allah for salvation of the departed soul.
