Three winners of Bengali linguistic competition and television reality show titled 'Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid Season 3' -- Shajedur Rahman Shahed from Bogura (champion), Ankita Zannat from Mymensingh (second) and Ayon Chakrabarti from Barishal (third) flash V-signs at an event at Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Friday The Bengali linguistic competition and television reality show titled 'Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid Season 3' was held at Sonargaon Hotel in the city on Friday, says a press release.
The best brand of Bangladesh, Ispahani Mirzapore, was the main initiator and sponsor of the TV reality show. Ispahani Mirzapore has been organising the Bengali language-based TV show for three years in a row to inspire youths to use Bangla language in their everyday activities correctly.
Shajedur Rahman Shahed from Bogura was crowned the champion of the Bangla language-based competition, while Ankita Zannat from Mymensingh placed second, and Ayon Chakrabarti from Barishal took the third position.
The winner of the contest got a scholarship worth Tk 1.0 million, while the first and second runners-up got scholarships of Tk 0.3 million and Tk 0.2 million respectively.
In addition, first 10 contestants received a laptop each and books worth around Tk. 50,000, and bookshelves to create personal libraries.
Author and poet Anisul Hoque, Prof Dr Soumitra Shekhar and media personality Tropa Majumdar were the main judges of the show while Dr Hossain Zillur Rahman was also present as a guest judge at the event.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni attended the show as the chief guest.Mirza Shakir Ispahani, managing director of MM Ispahani Limited, and Mirza Ahmed Ispahani from MM Ispahani Limited, were present as the special guests. Omar Hannan, general manager of Ispahani Tea Limited, and other officials of Channel i and Ispahani were also present at the gala event.
