ISU launches BSc Eng in AI & Data Science

International Standard University (ISU) has introduced a Bachelor of Science Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science under its Faculty of Advanced Science and Computing. The programme received formal approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh recently, said a press release.

The 152-credit undergraduate programme offers a comprehensive curriculum covering AI, data science, machine learning, robotics, cyber security, and other emerging technologies. It aims to produce competent engineers with expertise in AI and data science, enabling graduates to meet the growing demands of both the domestic and global technology industries while creating greater opportunities for higher studies and research.

Students will also benefit from research opportunities, modern laboratory facilities, and industry-oriented projects designed to strengthen practical skills alongside academic knowledge, the release added.

ISU currently offers academic programs through five faculties and eight departments. To promote academic excellence and wider access to higher education, the university has introduced merit-based tuition waivers for eligible students.
