IU to re-admit 'F' unit's 100 deprived students

Complying with the order of the Supreme Court (SC), the Islamic University (IU) authorities have taken a decision to readmit 100 students whose admission were cancelled following its 'F' unit's question paper leakage, reports UNB.
IU acting registrar SM Abdul Latif said on Saturday the students were asked to collect their admission forms from January 15 to 21 from the offices of the respective department, he added.
On March 6, 2017, the authorities cancelled the admission of 100 students over 'F' unit's question paper leakage and also suspended the unit coordinator M Nurul Islam and two of its officials, and expelled a master's student of mathematics department, Monojit Kumar Mandol, for their alleged involvement in the unfair means.
