IUB student Sefatul named for HUMAP Scholarship

SefatulWasi, a graduate student of Computer Science at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), has been selected for the 2026 Hyogo University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (HUMAP) Scholarship Programme.

He will undertake a one-academic-year research exchange programme at the University of Hyogo, Japan, beginning in Autumn 2026. His acceptance was confirmed on July 6, 2026.

Wasi is the first graduate-level student from IUB to participate in the programme under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between IUB and the University of Hyogo in 2023 to support research collaboration and academic mobility between the two institutions.

During his stay in Japan, he will be supervised by Dr. SyojiKobashi, professor at the Graduate School of Engineering and Advanced Medical Engineering Research Institute (AMERI).
