The School of Business and Entrepreneurship (SBE) at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), will host the International Conference on Economics, Business and Technology Management (ICEBTM 2025) on November 14-15, at The Westin Dhaka.
ICEBTM 2025 aims at providing a global platform for academics, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, present research findings, and discuss emerging trends shaping the future of business, technology, and entrepreneurship, according to a press statement.
IUB's SBE is a member of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and an accredited institution of Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.
Prof. Dr. Md. Mamun Habib, General Chair of ICEBTM 2025, and Prof. Raisul Awal Mahmood, Honorary General Chair, are leading the ICEBTM conference along with various committees, including the Conference Secretariat, outreach committee, branding committee, organising and technical committee.
Didar A Husain, chairman of the IUB board of Trustees, is the Chief Patron and Prof. M Tamim, vice-chancellor, is the Patron of the conference.
The two-day event brings together over 300 participants from more than 12 countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia, India, Poland, Japan and the UAE, featuring researchers, academics, industry leaders, and policymakers. A total of five keynote speeches, eight industry talks, three invited speakers, with 25 parallel sessions and two academia-industry discussions are the salient features of this conference.
Keynote speakers include Dr. Hossain Zillur Rahman, executive chairman, PPRC, and Chairperson of BRAC; Prof. Jonathan Liu (UK); Prof. Rajah Rasiah (Malaysia); Prof. Dr Maniam Kaliannan (Malaysia); and Dr. Ahmad Ahsan, Director of Policy Research Institute, Bangladesh.
Industry leaders, who will deliver industry talks to link research with practice,include Syed Nasim Manzur (Apex), Dr. Derek Westfall (Boeing, USA), Dr. Ben Bvepfepfe (CILT, UK), Abdul Hai Sarker (Dhaka Bank), A Matin Chowdhury (New Asia), A S M Mainuddin Monem (Monem Group), Niaz Rahim (Rahimafrooz) and Dr Arif Dowla (ACI).
